SAP Console and RF application

We have the requirement to analyse the possibility of swiching from a third part produt to RF SAP using the SAP console.We are in 4.6 C version.

Does anybody know of any suitable literature for SAP Console (Preferably WEB based)
Does anybody implement RF already ?
Is this RF SAP solution reliable?
Can You suggest any other alternatives?
