We already have this in place. the trouble is that the users ignore this message so it gets put on the task profile tab in any event. In 4.6 you can actually prevent them from seeing what they can't allocate.
: Access to Assigning etc. Profiles is controled ( and has been since the beginning of SAP time) with S_USER_PRO. It is not guaranteeded that the "display" possible entries is limited ( though I think it is in SU02) when they go to actually assign it they will get an error.
: : In 4.6, if you have specified that a user cannot allocate certain profiles, when the user comes to allocate a profile, they will only see the ones they are permitted to allocate. Is there a way of enforcing this in 4.0?
