Lea,

The configuration is in SD. IMG-->Sales and Distribution-->Sales-->Sales Documents-->Sales Document Header. In this section you will find the config for all the Sales Order Types, however, you should not have to perform any configuration to create a Service Quote.

Yes, you use TCode VA21 to create a Repair Quotation (Sales Document type AR). You do create the Repair Order referencing the Repair Quotation. There are 2 ways to do this. 1) TCODE VA22, go into the Quote then from the menu path select Sales Document-->Create Subsequent Order, then enter Order type RAS (Repairs/Service). The second way is use TCode VA01, enter order type RAS then select Create with Reference (hotkey F8), then enter the quote number. The process for quotes is:
Create Quote-->Create Order from Quote-->Bill Order-->Receive Payment

You can bill the Order from the Order screen Tcode VA02 and from the menu select Sales Document-->Billing, this will take you to Tcode VF01, then save. You won't need to change any data.

To see how Sales Orders are configured use TCode VOV8. To Maintain copy Control from Sales Order to Sales Orders use Tcode VTAA (This is what allows the infomation from the AR Sales Document Type to be copied to a RAS Sales Document Type).

Happy SAP'ing!!!

: Hi there! Thanks all for any body who has answered my question in the previous mess. Now, i am back again with still another question. I wanna create repair quotation for a repair order. My question are: (sorry if it sounds stupid, i am really confused right now).
: 1. Where is the configuration to do that? Is it in SD? If yes, so i can create repair quotation using tcode VA21 and then put the repair order as a reference. Is it correct?
: 2. Whats the next step once after quotation has been created?

: I have tried to search all SAP documentation about this stuff but so far i only can find material about 'Service Quotation'.

: Friend, thank you very much and any inputs of you will be highly very appreciated.
