I thought that logically, the reservation should not be allowed to occur in the first place since the material is already flagged for deletion and yet the system allows it to go through. Is there some kind of configuration that I need to do so as to prevent this type of occurrence again ?

: I am a little unclear on the question you are asking. If you are looking to verify the reservation perform trasaction MB23 Reservation Display. You can delete the reservation using TCode MB22. Also, verify that the Material Master was deleted immediately and discontinue using that material in the service orders.

: : I have a reservation that is generated automatically by the system when my user saves a Work Order (in Plant Maintenance Module) on 08/09/2001. However, the material that is being referenced by the Work Order was deleted entirely from the Material Master on 06/09/2001, which is a much earlier date than the transaction that has taken place. May I know whether this transaction is allowed to take place ? If not, how should I correct the error ? We are on 3.1H.
