I understand that you want to add a "service material" as a component in the service order to enable billing. That is not exactly the idea !
Instead you should use the Dynamic Item Processor (DIP) to read certain characteristics from your service order operations and thereby determine the correct service material(s).
The DIP can be configured using ODP1 and is called when you do resource related billing (DP90, DP91).
I would suggest reading the documentation carefully

: Hi Zeechan,
: Thanks for your reply. I have now another problem. The system is asking me for a storage location when I entered the Service. It looks like this field is mandatory somewhere in the customizing of the service order. What do you think of that ?
: Thanks.

: : Change your item category in the maintenance order. the item category 'N' creates a purchase requisiition. 'L' creates a reservation, 'T' is just for a text element.
: : Hope this helps.
: : Hi everybody,
: : : I'm using material type DIEN (services) in my service order but I don't want to create a purchase requisition for that because it's for internal use only. We just use services for billing and we don't want to make any purchasing.
: : : Can you Help me with that ?
: : : Thanks in advance.
