Ignore my previous answer, I was comparing a PM01 Order w/ a SM01/2 Order. I realized your question is really what is the difference between a SM01 Service Order and a SM03 Repair Order:
SM01/2 Service Order - Field Service (i.e. company sends a repair man to the customer to fix a product).
SM03 Repair Order - Depot Repair (Customer sends a broken component of the product back to the company so they can refurb./fix)
