Hi May Ling,
There is no harm in having different B.A.s or Cost Centers in the master data of the hierarchical F.L.

The "costs" shall get transferred to the "cost reciever" maintened in the settlement rule - by default & in 90 % of the cases, it is the Cost center mentioned in the mastter data of the "object" of the PM Order. If the object of the PMO is an equipment, the defaulted reciever would be the Cost center in the Master data of the equipment. The one in the Master Data of the F.L. at which the equipment is installed does not matter - it could be different.

However, the PMIS will show expenses accumulated under a F.L. as a sum of all the expenses in the PMOs on the F.L. as well as the equipments installed at it.

Hope this clarifies the matter.

: Hello all,

: I have set up my FL with 3 level of hierarchy. Due to user requirements I have different business areas and cost center inserted in the second level hierarchy. In my first level I did not entered any business area and cost center.

: Question: Is the system really charge the cost of repair to the BA and cost center?
