service order according to service contract

I have created a service contract(type wv) and assign a nequipment for it,then I try to create a service order for the equipment.When I do "contract selection" the system said as following:
No cost management is provided for sales document item 40000000 000010
Message no. IX 057
Diagnosis
You have tried to assign a sales document item to the service order for which no item costing management is provided.
System response
Such items can not be entered for service orders.
Procedure
Check your entries. Check the sales document item.

And the contract number can't be appear in the service order header.What should I do?
