Stock types

Can someone explain the difference in the stock types:
1. (S)Blocked and (3)Blocked
2. (X)Quality inspection and (2)Quality Inspection

These choices are available during a goods receipt for a purchase order when you use copy+details.
I was also unable to find this feature in the IMG, my thought was perhaps there are specific parameters in configuration that would define the types more clearly.

Any advice would be appreciated
