ITS not showing 2. screen in transaction

Having a dual host installation with a firewall between agate and wgate we have a small problem. After starting a transaction, first scrren is shown correct, but 2. screen is never displayed. Instead 'You must supply a service name...or session is terminated' is shown.
Any ideas ??
