IS-Retail Database Objects

Hi,
we are trying to find out what the standard structure database tables are used for. Example - there is a table called "S077" - "STRPS: Movements" which appears to be a transient (transport?) table. Does anyone know how this example table , or any of the other IS-Retail standard tables are used? I don't need a very in-depth technical answer, a generalised one will do.
