Do you want to know what POS converter is? or do you want to know what commercially available POS converter that you can buy and install?
POS converter is an interface , usually a PC connected to LAN line and the sole job is to transfer IDocs from R3 to POS system.
You can buy a converter system. Go talk to IBM and Retek.
