Does anyone have experience using Formula and Average Pricing in the IS-Oil module for purchasing? We are having trouble implementing it for business requirements.
We setup formula pricing based on contract and established the formula to average prices for the week prior to the goods receipt date. An estimated price is entered on the PO and the correct value is calculated when the goods receipt is done. But, when the invoice is entered, it blocks because of variance between estimated price on the PO and the price calculated for the GR (which is the amount owed to the vendor). Is there any way around this?
Also, is there a way in SAP to use F&AP when the price is based on 2 days before the GR and 2 days after the GR? The price calculated at the time of GR would be provisional, but we don't know how SAP knows to calculate the correct price which should be invoiced...
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
