Hello. I work with engineering change management using R/3 4.6 B, & I was curious if any one has encountered an issue with material master revision levels being mistakenly changed with a change master # ? I have a situation where a typo was made when updating a material master revision level. Since the object management record was generated for that transaction in that change master, the system will not allow us to delete that material from the change master. I have consulted our sap staff & they say there is no way to delete the object from the change master, nor is there a way to remove the revision level that was mistakenly assigned. I was curious if there is a way to configure the message sap generates when attempting to assign the same revision level (revision level already assigned with previous change #) from a hard error to a soft warning message? Does anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone else encountered this situation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
