FI-GL, Excel, Hyperion essbase and SAP conflict

Hi everyone,

I'm not sure what to do next, so any ideas would be helpful!
(Windows NT and 2000, SAP 4.6b, Excel 97 and 2000)

We have a hyperion essbase application (using Excel) that was just installed here. The problem is if you have the essbase application running (Excel with custom menus), and then create an Excel report within SAP, the Excel instance that is started with SAP uses the custom Excel menu instead of the "normal" menu.

If the essbase application is running, and then you just start another instance of Excel, it works correctly. It is only when you start that next instance with SAP...

Any ideas????
