Query not accessing Aggregate Cube

We have a query which when run reads data from an aggregate cube. This is expected. When the query is imported into a workbook it reads data from the base cube. The read option is set to 3 via transaction RSRT.The workbook contains VBE code to calculate some cells but we can't find the cause of not hitting the aggregate cubes.All charistics in query are in aggregate cube Our other queries/workbooks work corectly.
