Data Packet size for load between ODS objects

On the BW 2.0B system I'm working on extensive use is made of ODS objects to stage data - data may be passed thru several ODS objects before reaching the reporting level. Typically start routines are coded to facilitate this filtering.

My problem involves 1 such data transfer between 2 ODS objects. The update to the target ODS must be set to overwrite. A large volume of data is passed thru and split into several data packets. My start routine is called for each data packet and this leads to incorrect data in the target ODS.

I can up the data packet size thru the control parameters option on SBIW (table ROIDOCPRMS) but this alters the size across the board. Is there any way of altering the packet size for data transfer between specific objects?
