Hi,
We have a Custom User interface which is used to Input the material master data for the client specific functional areas.
We have the following groups.
1. Manufacturing
2.Packing
3. Distribution.
We maintain a custom field Material Maintenance Status at the material header level.As soon as the first group( Manufactuing) completes the data input in the Custom Interface the material master record will be created using MM01 transaction. The Custom Maintenance field staus will be changed. This is the trigger to intiate a workflow. We would like to send the workitem to the next group(Packing). The Packing user shouldbe able to continue to input his data from the business workplace. This process has to continue till all the groups have completed their tasks.
I understand that the above requirement is fully custom development. Is it doable ? If so please give me your tips.
