wait step & function to create event

Hi,

i have an fm SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.To this i pass the normal parameters required. i want to pass event parameters along with this.what is the additional requirement to do this.

also i have an wf definition in which i have an std task which sends an mail,this is triggered thru an event.i want to event parameter container to be assigned to wf container which i have done thru an wait step.but the wait step does not get executed.
