Hi Cathy,
If I well remember you cannot upgrade to 8.1.x unless you have kernel 3.1I_COM, the most you can do is 8.0.6. If you have OSS check out note 23875.

: We are currently on oracle 8.0.4 R/3 version 3.1H with R/3 3.1I kernel on Tru Unix ver 4.0G When we are upgrading to Oracle 8.1.7 and we run runinstaller , The buttons are not being displayed , can anyone help?
