I don't know i got your point. But Activity group = roles. Roles have additionaly menu, personality and user depends.
Just in PFCG search for your activity groups created previously and then you can modify them or not.

: Our company wants us to create roles for accounting functions, We are already created and using the activity groups in 4.6b version. When i try to create some roles, i find most of them, will be having the same rights when it comes to rights / activities...
