ME92F can't exclude POs by PO date (Reference Date)

Hi,

I have a following business requirement.

I need to generate messages (ME92F - Monitor Order acknowledgment) where I didn't receive order acknowledgment from vendor within 3 days from PO date.

E.g.
Suppose If I create a PO on Monday, acknowledgment has to receive by Thursday.

If I didn't receive acknowledgment from vendor, then I need to send a letter to vendor for acknowledgment.

For this I have activated "Confirmation Control Keys" and then 'Monitoring' field is set to "3" and 'Ref Date' field is set to "PO date Plus monitoring time".

But when I run ME92F on Monday after the PO is issued, system pick up the PO. I don't want system to pick it up until Friday.

Is this business requirement is possible to configured through standard SAP? If not what is the alternative method?

What is the ''Reference Date'' did you enter into your ME92F? What was the first urging message (expediter) value have you set in your PO?

Hi,

''Reference Date'' in ME92F is Aug 14.
The first urging message (expediter) value of the PO is "2".

The document date of the PO is Aug 14.
The delivery date of the PO is Sep 10.

In my understanding, ME92F doesn't use urging message (expediter) value of the PO but ME91F use it.
ME92F uses the setting in "Set Up Confirmation Control" in customizing.
Am I correct?

Hi,

First of all, in both ME91F (which is used to expedite the urging letter/reminder) and ME92F (which is used to expedite the PO acknowledgment) the reference date is used. Secondly, it is correct that ME92F will look into the setting of confirmation control configuration to decide when the order acknowledgment reminder letter shall be generated. If your PO document date is Aug 14 and the PO acknowledgement shall take place within 3 days since PO transmission, then ME92F won't pick up your PO till after Aug. 17. Isn't it happening in your system?

My understanding seems to be the same as you. ME92F won't pick up your PO till after Aug. 17 but ME92F picks it up today...
