The Topic Derailing Game

Postby Snowy » Thu Jun 11, 2009 11:13 am

Tulies,

We all know that topic derailing is a national sport here in General Discussions

So, here's the game. I start a topic, you must answer to it and derail it into another topic as soon as possible The first sentence must have some sort of relation of the previous post. OK, I start:

Air France had a plane crash last week. Do you believe it was caused by bad weather,by bad airplane design, bad training for the pilots? I believe to be a bad airplane instrumental problem.

I beleive it to be a combination of bad weather, along with a faulty instrument.

My favourite instrument is the Acoustic Guitar, what's yours?

Games are fun, this is why the humongous truck that a hummer is simply is plain stupid when driven in a town except to play games.

Hummers are stupid. Especially because they are god damn heavy and you need next level of driver's license to drive them. But speaking about humming - did you know that hummingbird flaps it's wings at 60 to 80 beats per second?

Yes, and did you know that humming birds are the only birds that can fly backwards. Onto Brysons favourite topics, birds and vaginas, are they useful ?

Actually I'm not sure if Bryson likes Hummers or Vaginas more. Both are very nice but only for a relatively short time after which a nap is the best option. Is it true that in Mexico, it is common for people to sleep during the day?

Yes, they do. More then that - people even sleep at night in Mexico. In their cosy Mexican beds with heads on soft Mexican pillows. I personally like my pillow small what about you?

I prefer Naughty Pillows. Big ones that are bouncy. How do you feel about the popularity of breast enhancement with college age woman?

popularity is a thing not to be trusted. i mean, look at StarWars. very popular for (how many?) decades now. if you look on the big picture, only one term springs to mind: daft. things less popular are very often more interesting, e. g. butter-dripping croissants :P

One should always be cautious about dripping after one withdraws. Poularity is only a fad - discuss

What is this, "Coffee Talk"???? We don't "discuss" things here. We get belligerent and obtuse.

Speaking of obtuse, does anyone remember that topic where we all spoke in the most obscure language we could imagine? That was belligerent in its own way, if you think about it.

Bunions? Maybe you meant onion rings.
