Display key figure only in overall result

Postby Pedrof » Wed Oct 22, 2008 6:03 am

Hi,

Does anybody know how to display a key figure only in the overall result of the query? Something like this:

As Is
.............Plant A.......................Plant B.......................Overall Result
Material...Qty...Val...NumOfPlants...Qty...Val...NumOfPlants...Qty...Val...NumOfPlants
Mat 1........5....20.................1.....3....12.................1.....8....32................2
Mat 2........3....15.................1.....................................3....15................1

To Be
.............Pant A......Plant B.....Overall Result
Material...Qty...Val...Qty...Val...Qty...Val...NumOfPlants
Mat 1........5....20.....3.....12.....8....32................2
Mat 2........3....15...................3....15................1

Thanks!

You can put a key figure, or calculated key figure, in the columns in the same way that you would put anything else.

Say you wanted to calculate average price, you'd name the column Ave_Price (as a formula) and then calculate it as val/Qty... Put in the nodiv0 so that you don't get "ERR" as the message.

I hope that helps.

Hi,

Maybe I couln't explain my needs in my previous post.

I have a query with 3 key figures (Qty, Val and NumOfPlants). What I want is to display two of them (Qty and Val) with all of the detail (Plant), and the NumOfPlants should only be visible in the overall result. Is this possible? How can I do that?

Thanks!

Hi,

I am having the same issue. I have a delivery drop report which shows the sales value per customer per day. Customers do not have a delivery every day and i want to calculate the number of drops over that period. I have put in a calculated key figure which counts 1 if there is a value in thesales value field and i have a grand totl which adds all drops but only want to show the total and not tis column after each day.

Any ideas?
