Hi all,
I have a situation here!!! An employee works for a specific day 07:00-15:00 and he comes again the same day from 23:00 to 07:00 next day(31:00). I need to declare that the second shift refers to the following day. So, the problems are two:
1) How can I manipulate this case in Shift Planning?
2) How can I determine that the second time pair refers to the following day (through time evaluation maybe?).
I work with 4.6c and I use time evaluation.
Any help would be welcome. Thanx in advance.
Cheers!

Hi,
I'm not so friendly with shift planning there for i'll give you an idea on the second question.
Via the schema use function PTIP. when the fuction scrolls the pairs you have to check to things: first if the employee fulefils the first shift. if yes you continue to check (HRS=PBEG, HRS?23 if GE HRS?LAST if yes HRS=PEND HRS?31....). If the employee fulefils the second shift you can keep this by indicating a daily time type, and on the next day to check if the time type of previous day (HRS=Lttprd) has the indication on second shift previous day. If yes you can choose one of thes; to prevent absence day or generate time pair.
I hope this modest assistance will help you.
Meir.
