I have no clue where to post this so I'll try here.
I have created a vendor class and I want to use some subordinate classes in it.
My question is can I create an Action assigned to a characteristic in a subordinate class that will set the value in a superior class?
I can set values within the same class but I haven't had any luck with setting the values in the superior class.
Sub-class VENDOR1
Charac A - user inputs value of 40
Superior Class
Charac B - should be set to Charac A * 2
Any help out there?
Thanks,
Craig

If you assign these two class under one material, then you can use normal object dependency to calculate char.

You didn't read the post carefully. We are talking a vendor class. Not a material class. They don't work the same.
