Show pictures/logos in BSP

We are trying to show a picture using references. i.e: img <src = '/web/images/photo1.jpg'>. The problem when we test it, the page is shown correctly without the pictures (just in boxes). If I click over the boxes, it is shown the right path where the images are. My understanding is that I need to public the path where the pictures are. Does someone knows how to do it? Or what else I need to do?
