EBP question

Hello all,

i am required to work in a project with EBP but have no prior experinece.I have 6 yrs in MM.Do you think with your experience i will have problems.If so what documentation i should read to acquaint myself.

We have be using EBP for 4yrs but I have stayed away from it (to the point where I struggle to spell EPB .... see what I mean!!). From memory, I recall we had issues with the BORG replicating with HR, workflow, Business Connector, stock & non stock functionality & just about everything else. All have been resolved but it is still the No1 reason for end users logging issues with our help desk.

EBP is a completely different system to SAP R/3 - however, with your experience you should be fine. Think of EBP as an internet application which passes documents between R/3 and the web. Also think of how on the internet you use shopping carts and catalogs to determine what you want to buy (this is in essence how EBP works). If you need any help go to http://help.sap.com Which will give you all the IMG stuff and background info + release notes - just like normal SAP!
