Test idoc for vendor master

Hi,

I am creating a Inbound Vendor IDOC with message type CREMAS with Inbound function module 'IDOC_INPUT_CREDITOR'. I want to create a test IDOC which only checks the data and does not post the vendor. For this i have created a partner profile with test flag on in WE20. But when i execute this idoc in background/foreground, I always get vendor posted with 53. It does not create any Test idoc.
Can u please let me know what is the problem for this. Also if we can create a test Idoc (i thinks with status 74) with inbound function.

Hi,

Futher to my query below,i jsut calrify few things .I have alreday put X in Control record test field, based on which i t searched for Partner profile. There are 2 Profiles whcih i have created one with test and another without.
But after all this also, i directly get status 53 with vendor created in SAP. What i am lokking for is when i flag the test flag it should check all data but should not post. Either if anybody can suggest a Function module whcih checks all the data for vendor like Compnay code, banks , region and all..

Hi sorry for digging this post but i have exactly the same requierement, does anyone has a solution ?

Hi,
In the partner profile, you can select Trigger by background program. This will create an idoc but not post it.
