Picking Remaining Percentage of SLED (WM)

Postby monty carlo » Tue Jun 27, 2017 9:03 am

Hello everybody,

I have an unusual request from the business, but I feel sure somebody might have come across this before because there are few scenarios totally unique.

We have a number of Warehouses. Each warehouse is maintained with storage types using a mixture of removal strategies (F, H and P mostly).

Batch managed materials picked for specific customers are obliged to have differing lengths of remaining shelf life.
EXAMPLE: for the same material, customer AAA will only accept stock that has minimum 80% of the shelf life remaining, while customer CCC might
accept minimum remaining shelf life of 65%. When it comes to picking I need the TO creation to identify only stock with the remaining shelf life appropriate to the customer in the originating sales document(s) (e.g. if picking for customer AAA then pick only stock with 80% remaining)

Has anybody seen any standard configuration or bolt-on for this type of process, or will it be a development? (I'm assuming development but worth asking around first)

Many thanks
Monty

Hi Monty

Did you ever resolve this. I no longer work in SAP but this seems similar to an issue I had to resolve a few years back where I looked into Batch Determination with Classification. Unfortunately I have no more detailed explanation for you as I no longer have access to a system.
Sean

I wish you good courage because courage will lead you to be a star and afraid will lead you to death. Be well and patient.
