Txn ie05 - "Show/Hide Configuration" ?

Postby apc » Tue Apr 11, 2017 7:36 pm

Hi.
I have posted this in the PM forum some time ago, and have been unable to elicit a response.

In the ALV of transaction ie05 it is possible to display the characteristic values of the listed equipment by following the menu path:
Menu: Settings >>>> Show/Hide Classification

This method works if the characteristics are made available in the equipment via the direct assignment of the equipment to the classes.

However, this method does not work if the equipment is 'configured', ie the characteristics are made available in the equipment via a configurable material.

For equipment with 'configuration' (ie equipment that are assigned to a configurable material), is it possible to display the 'configuration' characteristic values in ie05 ?

Alternatively, transaction cl30n can display the 'configuration' characteristic values for my equipment with 'configuration'.
Is it possible to display ALL the equipment master data fields (eg maintenance plant, main work centre, cost centre etc) in cl30n ?

apc ,

You have answer in your question itself.

IE05 will only show classification value if a class is assigned to equipment .

CL30n will only show classification data as all other fields belongs to equipment , try to use equipment tables.

Thanks

Thanks Ritu.
It's not that I have answered my own question, more like, I was explaining the problem.
I was hoping that someone had encountered this problem before, and had a solution to it . . . . hopefully by utilising standard SAP functionality.
