CAT2 and Previous Day Indicators

Postby tsumek » Fri Nov 21, 2014 6:33 am

Greetings,

I have this scenario in the CAT2 Data Entry Area for an employee wherein I enter some hours for a day, but they are added to the previous day in the totals row.

For instance, if I enter 9 hours for Saturday, they are added to the total for Friday while the Saturday total remains zero.

Now, this employee works the night shift for Friday while Saturday is a weekly off. I tried different Attendance Types for the entry but this happens each time.
I cannot find any Previous Day Indicator set for this employee anywhere either.
Debugging did not help.

What should I be looking for in the system? New to SAP-HR, see.

PS: Neither Friday nor Saturday have any planned hours. Could this be a factor?

PPS: I checked the employee's Personal Work Schedule and the Calendar. Friday is a public holiday for the employee's calendar. It is a non-guaranteed floating holiday with no rules that I could see in SCAL.

If you want to add hours for Saturday, you should make Saturday a working day first.
