One employee assigned to multiple comapnies

Postby vdmron » Wed Nov 19, 2014 1:48 pm

Hi All,

We have a situation in HR Organizational Management.
We have one employee, that holds two positions that are in two different companies.

Ex Personnel Number 00000123
Position A, held 50%, exist in company 0001, which is where the employee is paid 100% from
Position B, held 50%, exist in company 0002, which has no financial impact, only to fill the position

How do we represent employee 00000123 in Org Management so that the employee occupies both positions in the different companies, but is only paid from one company.

Thanks in Advance

It's difficult to do this in SAP.

I suggest you use 2 personnel numbers so you can do the payroll. Otherwise, payroll can't be processed 100% when a personnel holds the position 50%.

As to 2 numbers referring to one person, you can link one personnel number to another as referrence number, so you can recognise it in reports.
