wage type posting on cost centre

Postby majids71 » Mon Oct 13, 2014 10:15 am

Hi Experts,

I am having an issue and not really sure how a certain wage type can be posted to another cost centre or restricted from getting posted to other cost centre other than master cost centre.

Scenario:

A employee salary cost has to be divided into 60% to the master cost centre and 40% to another cost centre. The issue here is tax calculation is different for 60% and fixed 10% for the 40%.

Social Insurance is applicable for 60% and not for 40%.

I have created the PCR's and the calculations are fine. But not really sure how is it possible to restrict the social insurance wage types and the tax for 60% to get posted to the other cost centre that will be maintained in IT0027 or the fIxed tax of 10% to get posted to other cost center and not to the master cost centre.

Please advise.

Thank you in advance

You can split the wage types for basic salary as well as social insurance and tax.

Then you can set a cost center to a certain wage type, and this is prior to the master cost center.
