Table For Scheduling

Postby BIDOR » Mon May 05, 2014 1:55 pm

Hi,

Is there a table to see who and when a maintenance plan was initialy scheduled ?

I can see some info through table MHIS for the last scheduling from IP30 (User IP...) but if the plan was initialy scheduled through IP10, is there a way to find out who and when ?

For example, if the plan was created on april 14th 2014 but was scheduled on april 30th 2014 through IP10 but then IP30 ran over the weekend, the only information available is from the IP30 run.

Thanks for your help.

BIDOR,

The maintenance plan/item tables MPLA, MPOS, MHIS and MHIO.

If activated, also have a look at the change documents. This can be done via programs RSSCD100 or RSSCD200 via SE38/SA38.

Also, as far as I know, sensible change docs (i.e., containing all relevant fields) for maintenance plan headers are only available on ECC6, SAP have missed that for quite a long time.

Thanks Pete,

But the information does not seem to be available as far as the tables are concerned and users have no authorization for running SA38 or SE38 in Prd.

Let me know if any other option is possible.

Thanks for your quick reply (as always).

BIDOR,

Are change documents active in your system? If not, then there's no point looking at the SA38/SE38 option.

And the other tables will not give historical change info...

To add to that: The standard maintenance plan types (e.g. PM) will not have change docs active. If you didn't create your own maintenance plan category, you won't have any change docs. You can find that out in the IMG via Plant Maintenance and Customer Service > Maintenance Plans, Work Centers, Task Lists and PRTs > Maintenance Plans > Set Maintenance Plan Categories.

By the way, have you checked the program RI_CD_VIEWER? If you have change docs active you can see a few things there. It has sections for the header, the items and the maintenance call history. You can also call that from IP03, via Extras > Change Documents. Here's an example:

Yes change documents are active and all 3 tabs will display the changes. But for the initial scheduling, the information is not there. For example, the plan was initially scheduled (IP10) in 2013 and IP30 runs weekly, when going to IP10, you can see the planned call dates which are in the future (ex. november 2014 and november 2015) but the change documents in the third tab (Maintnce call) is blank.

Hi BIDOR,

sorry, then I'm out of ideas. I have one of the original developers of SAP PM at my company tomorrow, I'll ask him if he knows anything else.

BIDOR,

You may need a custom report that combines MHIS data and the change document data.
