Manual Input Devices : With a manual input device the user must enter data into the computer by hand. e.g. mouse, keyboard, scanner.

There are also multi-touch input devices... It means you can touch yourself while you change your browser pr0n pages. Or something like that.

Who's the OP? Please, tell me he's Bryson or PoD using a new fake account... I fear he's a real person...

I think as Rich has 'pointed' out (see what I did there) the answer is in the question. Though perhaps you are wondering which finger should be used (do they have separate devices for left handed people)

I wish you good courage because courage will lead you to be a star and afraid will lead you to death. Be well and patient.

And whether that finger has been nasally (or elsewhere) inserted in the case of a shared touch screen. (I dread to think of Vic's touch screen..... :shock: )

Anything which ends with "lus" can be used,

for example, a phallus.

I can imagine your first days as a programmer...

"Snowy (or any systems guy/gal name), we have some hardware problem: my tablet's wrong"

"(mumbling... bloody programmers) Richm It's not a hardware problem... you will need to clear it and re-write all your code. Then be sure you put it in a kiln before continue programming... And in any case... who gave you rights to access clay tablets?"

(edit: my English goes worse every day, I guess)

Almost as bad.

My first programs looked something like:

Code: Select all

A9 01
B7 2D 3F
A2 00
It was only after about 2 years they started to look something like readable:

Code: Select all

CONT JSR SWAP MOVE ARG TO EXP/MANT2
       LDA X2      HOLD EXPONENT
       LDY =$80
       STY X2      SET EXPONENT 2 TO 0 ($80)
       EOR =$80 COMPLIMENT SIGN BIT OF ORIGINAL EXPONENT
       STA M1+1 SET EXPONENT INTO MANTISSA 1 FOR FLOAT
       LDA =0
       STA M1 CLEAR MSB OF MANTISSA 1
       JSR FLOAT CONVERT TO FLOATING POINT
       LDX =3      4 BYTE TRANSFERS
SEXP1  LDA X2,X
       STA Z,X COPY MANTISSA TO Z
       LDA X1,X
       STA SEXP,X SAVE EXPONENT IN SEXP
       LDA R22,X   LOAD EXP/MANT1 WITH SQRT(2)
       STA X1,X
       DEX
       BPL SEXP1
       JSR FSUB    Z-SQRT(2)
Whew... that brings back memories!
