Strange GUI behaviour with table control

Hi,

I'm not sure if this should be here or in BASIS... however,

In ECC 6.0 I have a table control in a sub screen which is called by screen 8459 in the VAxx transactions for the purpose of adding fields into the Additional Data B tab of VA01, 02 etc etc

The Table control is manipulated before display, hding some fields and displaying other - the standard type of things you can do with fields in a table control.

At certain resolutions this table control is displayed properly - filling the sub screen etc etc. However, at other (non-standard) resolutions the table control is truncated halfway across the screen, although the fields can be scrolled into view.

When the table control is truncated there is no vertical scrollbar, nor is the frame surrounding the table control complete.

This sounds more of a GUI problem, but has anyone heard of this before and if so, how did you get round it ?

This does sound familiar to me, but I don't have a current example (and my note-taking leaves much to be desired). If I remember correctly, a GUI patch did the trick - what is your current patch level?

You're pretty current. I currently have 7200.3.11.1076 (which is a hot fix for the original patch level 11), but since my problem had been solved some time ago, I have to assume yours is a different cause. I also wonder it could be related the to operating system type/version on the front end? I'm still on Win XP 32 bit.

It happens on Windows XP (not sure which version) and Windows 7.

This happenes on all SAPGui versions in 720, especially if you have the "free-scalable" resolution of a Nvidia board. It's the same here with VA4* (res. 1920 x 1080), however if I am working from home (my own machine) with the same resolution the problem does not occur. Not totally sure, but I think it's a SAPGui problem ...

Still, I am basis and don't work with VA4*, so I haven't taken any action
