MB54 -- Vendor Consignment Stock report

Postby jm30981 » Fri Dec 12, 2003 5:03 am

Hello,

We use consignment inforecords. In these inforecords different prices have been maintained for different validity periods.

Lets us say that for one of the inforecords,
from 01/10/2003 to 31/10/2003 the price was 20USD per unit and
from 01/11/2003 to 31/12/2003 the price was 25 USD per unit.

When the Vendor Consignment Stock report (MB54) for the period 01/10/2003 to 31/12/2003, for all the records in the report, the price is shown as 25 USD.. I expected that for the records in October the price would be 20 USD........

Do you aware that the Vendor Consignment Stock report (MB54) shows current status?!
So, it would show you the current price too :)

Note: I assume that "current" is lied in 01/11/2003 to 31/12/2003

Hi, ayunizar
As you described, SAP will show the current price /value for the reporting, means that SAP will use current price in info record for settlement.
I have a question, for my testing, SAP will use the goods transfer document price/value (transfer from vendor consignment to own unrestricted use) for settlement even if I change the info record price before the settlement, then the report value for estimate is error.

So, what is the price of the settlement, Info record current price or goods transfer document? Or others? Thanks!

So if I want differentiated prices for same material and same supplier, how can I accomplish it?

As soon as the material gets in to the storage location, the price is the same for the entire stock, and that same price is used for the settlement.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

The vendor consignment liability settlement (via MRKO transaction) will use the consignment info record price that you used to valuate your issued consignment stock before, to generate the consignment vendor invoice. Hence, if you wish to have a different price, then price change shall happen before you post goods issue.

Thank HT, what we are going to do is hold the info record price for the longest time, since in reality our price is going to be defined at MIGO not at MB1B.
