SXMS_LMS_CONF

Hi,

I am using SXMS_LMS_CONF for user-defined search in PI 7.1 SP5 with a custom abap for idoc/file based message search. I am trying to find how I could transport the configuration to QA and Prod. With more than 20 filters and each of them having almost two extractors, maintaining the config manually in each of the environment could be prone to errors.

I also read that from PI7.1 SP6, a user-defined search tab is available in SXMB_MONI that can be used in conjunction to SXMS_LMS_CONF. I could not find though if there is any special config required to activate that tab in SXMB_MONI itself. We are at SP5, so this is not available to us, but was just curious. I am also trying to find out how this would be different in PI 7.3. Could anyone please share any information about this or any other documentation. I have kind of exhausted all my searches on the web including SAP's OSS and SCN websites.

unfortunately the system i am running does not have EHP1 on 7.1 so i cannot assist...

this functionality does look pretty good... i normally implement this though:

Hi Baz,

The functionality does look good. I would like to try it out, but I can see only a few screens followed by user comments on the link you've sent. Will you be knowing the link to the actual changes after making a copy of RSXMB_SELECT_MESSAGES?

the code is gone! there was a whole bunch of code for that...
