QI07 : select a different inspection type

Hello,

Inspection type 01 and 0101 ==> My client has the following wish : the inspection type should be different depending on the type of purchase order. Example : when they do a GR on a refurbishment PO (BSART different from NB), the inspection type should be Z01 (and not 01 for a standard PO NB). This problem is solved with user exit QAAT0001 - Inspection type determination different from variant 01.
Now they want to have the same behaviour for the source inspection (QI07) and unfortunately this user exit is of no use. Do you know another exit that could determine another inspection type than the one defined in the QM info record ?

I wasn't aware that user exit was not called in for source inspections. (Never had a client that used the exit and was doing source inspection)

I would consider this a bug on SAP's part. Have you put in an OSS note?

Hello,

I found another user exit that solves this problem.
As mentioned before, QI07 does not take into account exit QAAT0001 but I could use QPL10001 to change the inspection type with the same parameters but only for QI07.
Anyway I asked SAP why QAAT0001 was not called for source inspection. No answer yet.
