Product costing and sales forecast in SD

Hello Gurus,

I have 3 Questions regarding sap sd.

1- what is the difference between sales order product costing and sales order cost estimation and unit costing. How to calculate in case of MTO scenario and sales bom.
2- My client said they want to do Sales forecasting/Scheduling e.g once they add material in sales order they will get all the info about the truck availability on how much trucks will be used at what time also allocate days and reserved trucks for materials.
3- Is there any impact if i changing pallets to frames in Transportation group material master record.
