Ok.. I'll bite.. what does this have to do with the USA joining WWII?

My guess is FOX reported a news story from a wire service that was put up. AP or some local news serives probably had the story put together from a number of sources and the actually writing of the story was outsourced to India or Pakistian. Then placed on the wire.

If the news were true (doh, it's not and I bited it :( ), if the USA's army's maps were provided by FoxNews, maybe they spent three years looking for Europe in some place at the Pacific...
