Need help on info for SOA and Content Mgmt

Hi,

I'm a bit lost on the SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) and Content Management. One of my system supplier want to link their imaging content mgmt system with my company ECC6 system. They brought up saying about SOA and SOA Middleware Content Management. I'm zero knowledge on all these new concept.

I looked into SAP and SDN SAP but not sure what exactly to search. I'm just using SOA Middleware Content Management search terms.

Has anyone done this b4 and what should I look into?

you can use SAP PI as the broker for moving content into and out of SAP ECC.

what specific content are you talking about? it is quite a generic subject...
