Postby gaby58 » Tue Feb 28, 2012 11:32 am

Hi all,

I am pretty new to SAP and have been learning..
I have some queries set up in SQV1 in another user profile and want to copy it to my user profile(have the permission to do the same), how to do this, could some one guide me on this?

Thanks for any help and tips

Do you mean SQVI ?
The easiest way would be to convert these quickviews to regular queries (from SQ01, menu Query/Convert Quickview).

Is there anyother way to copy, as I can not convert them to Infoset queries?

Also if you can guide me how to view its design then I can replicate that in my user profile

Easiest way, if you lack authorization to create queries?
Have the other user open the quickview, and recreate everything in your own session.

Actually, I can open the oher user's session also as I have the authorization to do so, but I am not sure how to view its design to create in my seeion. When I select the query and hit display it doesn't display its design, so not sure how to see its design and create in my session. Any suggestions?

Thanks

What do you mean by 'design'? The data source? The layout?
Go to Basis mode (first button in the toolbar when in Layout mode), and all this is available in different tabs.
