date comes after end of valid factory calendar

Postby yaelb » Tue Jan 24, 2012 7:57 am

Hello,

We had a very weird situation. We couldn't get into MRP screens (MD04, MD06,etc) for a few materials, due to ths error message: "03/01/2016 date comes after end of valid factory calendar". I changed the factory calendar till 2016, look at the material in MRP screen and didn't see any object to 03/01/2016.
How could it be?

Best Regards,
Yael.

This is a very old error message that results in several different situations. You might want to check OSS notes with the message number...

Hello,

Thanks you, but I already checked and nothing helped.
I also checked with the OSS, but it took them 1.5 days till they looked at it first time, and when they enter the system everything was ok, nobody knows how it happend. This is the reason I'm asking about it.

Best Regatds,
Yael.

Only a day an a half.....you must be paying for the SAP "Premium" maintenance!

Look at the replenishment leadtime and planning time fence values. If either of these extend beyond the factory calendar, you can get this message even with no MRP elements out there. For example '999' days in RLT will be almost 4 years which gets close to the date you see.
Good luck!
