brrestore to another server

I am trying to restore online backup from PRD system to TST system using brrestore, this is on solaris with Oracle. Backup tool is TSM I have copied the backup log from PRD server to tst server. I have also copied backPRD.log over to the test server. Should this log be renamed to backTST.log???? I havent been able to find a full documented procedure on how to do this so I am not sure what steps I am missing. I am getting the below error on all the datafiles.

BR0386E File '/oracle/PTK/sapdata44/btabd_55/btabd.data55' reported as not found by backup utility

Hi,

you only need backTST.log is you use brtools or brrecover.

if you use brbackup directly, you're OK.

to fix your issue, you need to "fake" your TST system as being a client for your PRD server.

copy initPRD.utl on your TST server and name it initPRD_refresh.utl . check its contents and make sure that NODENAME (or similar) uses the PRD entry.

ask your TSM admin help about that. I know that this is documented somewhere on the web.
