Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed?Hello,
get a job first and then learn SAp. Not the other way around, that is lost money. Greetings from Hamburg

Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed?Your friends and waltersen are right. Get a job first that will train you up. Don't waste your money on courses before you have secured a job.

Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed?I don't think it's impossible. But I guess your friend was right. Hope that you could get the proper answer on your problem.
Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed?Hello,
yes but the other way is much better. Have you visited a sap course? I took part part in 15 from SAP and in 2 from Integrata while I am in SAP business. Lessons learned: 1) In some cases you can use only parts of the course, because your company has not implemented all. 2) If you could use or try something it does not work because customizing or roles or both are missing. 3) Best are inhouse courses (if possible) where you can explain your company specific wishes. 4) If you not have a sandbox system to train (in your company) every course is wasted money. So it is better to invest your money and or time in general education: become an apprentice, go to university or something like this. Then application for a job. Then work with SAP. Another benefit is not to pay all the courses (+hotel, tickets etc.). What maybe could work are courses like requirement engeneering or testing. You learn general techniques and you get a certificate. But here it is also better to get a job in this sector and then take part in the courses. I do not know why a lot a people (a lot of them from India) want to do SAP courses without a job. In my opinion the most valuable asset is experience. Better is experience with courses and certfication. Also important is business knowledge and social competence. So the right way is: Good education, job, business knowledge, switch to SAP, then courses, SAP experience, maybe certification.
Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed? Thanks for the insight Waltersen, I have been selected for a training in a software company in which they will hire suitable candidates.
The process is due to start in November and I m thinking of equip myself prior to the training. What should I do for that purpose... as such I have accumulated some data on SD (functional) but need something basic to start with. regards postmaker
Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed? Please don't waste thousands of dollars on sap training or certification as it may not help you get a job.
Most employers are only interested in your SAP work experience. If you want to learn SAP purchase a teach yourself SAP training course which is very cheap and learn about SAP first. Try http://saptrainingcourse.net it is only $67 for the whole course. Then get a job and build up your work experience. Later attend the specialist courses and maybe do certification.
Re: CAN A fresher Join in SAP course And get Placed?
you are still giving up money and still do not have a job guaranteed. Good strategy is to get a job with a company that uses SAP, prove yourself and then ask to work on SAP. I did the same, over 10 years, got over 35,000$ of training, all paid by my employer. SapFans Moderator
