PO Prints Wrong Value When Using Yen ( JPY )

Postby yeagz » Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:57 am

Hi All,

When i make an import purchase order, the values are shown incorrectly on the printout. For example, if we put 6,000,000.00 JPY
(Japanese Yen) the print preview is seen as only 60,000.00 JPY... However, if I make the PO in
USD or EUR the PO print shows correct values.

Any ideas?

Many thanks,
Yeagz

There is an error in your print program (or smartform).
JPY should not be printed with decimals. It seems someone was aware of that because the amount was divided by 100, probably in an attempt to get rid of the decimals.

The program/smartform should be corrected so that amount is printed using the correct number of decimals.

if you use smartform try to use field 'Currency' in order to keep the correct currency combine with your amount field same as quantity fields.
