IF value NE ' 0.00' does not work anymore

After some support packages have been implemented the IF statements in my Sap script do not work anymore.
I have checked if the lenght of the fields differ, but that is not the case. Everything seems to be the same but still the following code is always correct -> therefor always the amount will be printed even if it is zero.
IF &KOMK-FKWRT& NE ' 0,00'
Totale bedrag &EKKO-WAERS& (excl. BTW),,&KOMK-FKWRT(<18.2)&
ENDIF

Does anyone have an idea why it doesn't work anymore?
Or a clever idea how to program it in a different way?

Which is it ? And what in &KOMK-FKWRT& when it is 0 ?

it is '0.00' .
And the value in KOMK-FKWRT is '0.00'.

Did you check in debug ?

If I recall correctly, SAPScript has difficulties with NE.
Perhaps if you change the NE to an EQ followed by an ELSE it will work again.
