Web console server err msg:use most recent SAPGUI version

Hi guru,

I build a web console server for RF testing,
1. install windows IIS 5.1
2. SAP web console server 7.1
3. install SAP GUI 7.10 with patch 20
Then
access below URL address
http://<<webserver>>/SAP/isapi_cnsl.dll
I can access the sap logon screen for entry user ID and password before.

But I get an error message below today, I did not change any setup on the web server.

Use the most recent SAPGUI version

I am using SAPGUI 7.20 and it is working well for me. I installed it on my IIS 5.1 too. You might just need to upgrade to the newer version to prevent some incompatibilities.

I upgraded GUI to 720 with patch3, but still have the same error message. It was strange when I change the console server link to a IDES system, it works fine. are there any trigger in R/3 application server?

Hi There.

Are you still having this issue? I have the same. I set up RF last summer with SAP console on windows 2003 sever with IIS6 and gui 7.10. This all worked fine for 2 months while i developed. I have not used since Novemebr 2010 and tru=ied again yesterday as the project is going to start proper and i get the same error.

If i try and connect from my laoptop using IE or handheld using Windows CE and IE or try from the server using IE it tells me to upgrade my version of SAP Gui.

HELP.
